Research genre

The action genre is based around the idea of interesting fights or things such as war or just destruction in general. And most action genre films include explosions and things such as a hero that will save the day. Most action films but not all have a protagonist and and an antagonist that throughout the film have battles and there is in most films that there is a twist maybe like the real antagonist is someone who was an ally of the main protagonist.   The action genre has a very wide audience as the action genre Can be linked with all types of genres in films such as spy films, superhero films or anything that involves things such as fight scenes, car chases, explosions etc. In action films there is most of the time in a good story tension and the main character is always in trouble or in danger in some way to keep the audience on edge and feeling uncomfortable. the best director that does this sort of tension in his action films is Christopher Nolan as in all of his films he adds mu

LA2 Research a film

The Social Network The social network is a film starring Jessie Eisenberg, Andrew Garfield, Justin Timberlake, Armie Hammer, Max Minghella, Rooney mara and written by Aaron Sorkin and directed by David Fincher. The budget for the film was 50 million USD and the film is an adaptation of sorts from a book called accidental billionaires written by the American author Ben Mezrich. The story of the book and the film is based off real life of the people Mark Zuckerberg, Eduardo Saverin and Sean Parker where they all found success creating the very popular social media site known as Facebook in the early 2000s. The story of the film mark Zuckerberg (the character) gets broken up with and continues to make the site www.facemash.com that is a site that compared girls hotness in Harvard this site gets so much attention that the Winklevoss twins try to get mark to make their idea for a site called Harvard connection which was basically the facebook before mark decideed to steal their idea and m

1.1 Creating a Visual Effect

Overview For my visual effect I am thinking about doing is a walk through walls effect. Where you run into a wall and then edit it in premiere pro to look like you run through the wall but actually you don't, you just bump into the wall and you remove that part of the video in premiere pro and edit the body to look like its going through the wall. this will hopefully imitate an effect you would see in a si fi movie such as the Harry Potter films or super hero films. Pre-production Where I would film is anywhere with a steady wall and plenty of space to set up the camera and tripod and a place that I will be able to take my time with getting a perfect shot that will be the best to edit in premiere pro. I will most likely just film outside against a brick wall outside the college. Equipment  The equipment I will need for this project will be a tripod a cannon camera a place to film and the software premiere pro to edit the video after filming the video. Shot list I will just film the

What is a Storyboard?

A storyboard is tool that directors and storyboards use to show what a scene will look like when it is filmed and to show how certain shots will be and how some effects will be like after they are done with for example in the for the film Spiderman 2 (directed by Sam Rami) the train battle got storyboarded to show what would happen in the scene such as the cinematography and the choreography. In some cases such as films adapted from comic books or novels the directors will just use the comic panels as the storyboards for example in the film Scott pilgrim vs The world (directed by Edgar Wright) The film mostly used the already existing art made by Bryan Lee O’Marley. unknown.
